It's that season again!
No, not Spring or Autumn. That's so hemispheric. The season we're thinking of transcends the boundaries of Earth's annual cycles. This particular season is blocky, humid, and oh so much fun: It's Love Tropics season once again!
What: Love Tropics 48 hour charity livestream supporting Pachamama Alliance
When: November 21-23, 2025. 18:00 UTC / GMT, 19:00 CET, 1:00pm EST
Where: https://lovetropics.org or https://twitch.tv/lovetropics
We are thrilled to welcome you back to our 9th (!!) Love Tropics, taking place November 21-23, 2025.
This year we are honored to raise funds for and bring awareness to a truly inspiring organization, Pachamama Alliance. In their words:
With roots in the Amazon rainforest, we equip people around the world with inspiration and training to regenerate the planet’s ecosystems, bring justice to their communities, and restore our relationships with the Earth, each other, and ourselves

Specifically, funds raised during our 48-hour charity livestream marathon will help cover costs for Indigenous students to participate in EVA - La Escuela Viva de la Amazonía, or The Living School of the Amazon. These programs bring together students from all over the Amazon and integrate ancestral wisdom with contemporary knowledge to prepare Amazonian youth for the various challenges they and their communities are uniquely faced with. Lessons include:
Using these skills, students return to their home communities after 9 months of learning to integrate what they have learned, spreading the knowledge and compounding the benefits of the program.
Why we chose Pachamama Alliance and EVA
As consumerism continues to grow, so too does the marginalization of Indigenous groups. We were inspired by the cooperation and coordination that we saw with Pachamama Alliance, specifically with their work with the Amazon Sacred Headwaters Alliance (ASHA), a region home to more than 35 Indigenous nations and nationalities. In addition to these nations, this region is the most biologically diverse terrestrial ecosystem on the planet, and we believe ASHA's work to bring together legal teams, Indigenous communities, and civil society organizations should serve as an inspiration and roadmap for others to follow.
United to permanently protect over 35 million acres of the Amazon forest, defend collective rights, and promote socio-ecological alternatives and transitions from the Amazon to the world
All over the world, Indigenous populations are being pushed out of their homes, either by force or necessity as consumerism drives a demand for oil, wood, coal, and other rare earth minerals that pollute native waterways, soil, and air. Sadly, we cannot snap our fingers and course correct all the wrongs we see happening. What we can do is to prepare those who will succeed the current generation for the future; by supporting EVA, we can give today's students the tools they need to best navigate, survive, and thrive in the coming decades so they can become tomorrow's leaders and spread what they know to everyone around them.
Much like Love Tropics, no effort goes far without a community behind it. We believe in the work Pachamama Alliance is doing to bring together and support Indigenous communities, and we are thrilled to support their EVA initiative for this year's event.
We hope to see you there!
